  • Plug it in at night, just like a cell phone
  • 75 cents to drive 20 miles
  • Fiberglass body (although later models were metal)
  • Technically is a Class II motorcycle
  • No helmet needed
  • No cycle endorsement needed on your driver’s license
  • Can still find parts at XebraParts.com
  • 10 ft long, 4.66 ft wide, 5.05 ft high
  • 6 Lead acid batteries (Total of 72V)
  • 5 kW (6.7 hp) DC brushed electric motor
  • More stable than you think, since batteries weigh 450 lbs, and are housed lower than the seats creating a low center of gravity.
  • Top speed: ~40 mph. Really meant as an in-town vehicle. Not highway.
  • Imported 2006 – 2009. Qingqi Motorcycle company. Importer: ZAP
  • Less than 175 Xebras were sold in 2006, making this a very  rare vehicle.
